Fused quartz sand is produced by melting selected high-purity quartz at elevated temperature and classifying the amorphous silica into controlled granular grades. This product is intended for buyers evaluating a thermally stable silica aggregate or filler for electrical insulation compounds, refractory mixes and other heat-resistant formulations.
Its low thermal expansion, chemical stability and clean granular form help formulators manage dimensional change during heating and cooling. Particle-Size and Order Selection
Granular options in Changtong’s fused silica specification include 3–5 mm, 1–3 mm, 1–0.5 mm, 0.5–0.2 mm and 0.1–0.2 mm. Reference powder grades include 120, 200, 325, 600, 800, 1250, 2000, 2500, 3000 and 5000 mesh. The appropriate grade depends on packing density, flow, mixing equipment and the customer’s finished product.

Production and Quality Control
